Award-winning Loudoun County winery 868 Estate Vineyards could soon be changing hands. The winery’s 120-acre Hillsboro property at 14001 Harpers Ferry Rd. hit the real estate market in late September and is currently listed for $7.5 million.
“After many wonderful years building 868 Estate Vineyards, we’re thinking about embarking on new adventures,” said Nancy Deliso, one of 868’s current owners, in a statement. “Since we don’t have a second generation interested in running the business, we’ve made the decision to list the property for sale. Our guests can rest assured that the warm, welcoming experience they’ve come to love — along with our full calendar of events and award-winning wines — will continue just as before.”

The listing includes two LLCs that encompass all of the real estate, the vineyards and winery equipment, machinery, and wine inventory for what the listing calls “a true turnkey operation.”
That includes all 120 acres, 21 of which are under vine, plus the winemaking facilities, tasting room, the covered pavilion, a permanent balcony, and a pergola. The property also features a four-bedroom house, circa 1840, that the listing says is “awaiting restoration,” a winemaker’s cottage, and the former Grandale Farm restaurant, complete with a full commercial kitchen.
The listing agent is Peter Leonard-Morgan with Hunt Country Sotheby’s International Realty.
868 Estate Vineyards’ current owners — Peter and Nancy Deliso, Wendy and Chris Charron, and Carl and Erin DiManno — purchased the land in 2012. Today, the winery grows varietals like Chambourcin, Chardonel, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Tannat, Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng, Merlot, Viognier, and Nebbiolo. It produces about 3,500 cases of wine per year.
The winery received gold medals in the 2025 Governor’s Cup for its 2022 Chardonnay, 2022 Meritage, and 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. It received silver medals for the 2022 Grandale and the 2022 Viognier.
