These elevated Northern Virginia restaurants are pulling out all the stops for Dad.

Father’s Day dining doesn’t have to mean another backyard burger. Restaurants across Northern Virginia are planning special menus, brunches, and limited-time dishes designed to celebrate dads of every kind. Whether he prefers a perfectly cooked rib-eye, a platter of sushi, or a margarita alongside tacos, here’s where to make reservations this Father’s Day.

Arlington

Celebrate with Liberty Tavern’s unlimited brunch and dinner specials. Brunch offerings include pulled pork sliders and smoked brisket, while dinner features dishes such as yellowfin tuna tartare with pimento aioli, avocado puree and lavash; filet surf and turf with blackened scallops and jumbo shrimp; and a cowgirl rib-eye served with aligot potatoes and red wine jus. 3195 Wilson Blvd., Arlington

Taquería Xochi

For Father’s Day, Taquería Xochi is serving a limited-time taco inspired by the flavors of Central Mexico. The Barbacoa de Cordero features slow-cooked lamb topped with cilantro and onion, plus a side of rich consommé for dipping.
