Meet the Savannah Bananas at Dunkin’ in Alexandria

The team is in town to play two games at Nats Park this weekend.

The Savannah Bananas are bringing their 2025 Banana Ball World Tour to Nationals Park this weekend. During games, players entertain the crowd with trick plays, dance breaks, and other surprises.

And while they’re in the area, the players are making a pitstop to meet fans.

On Saturday, June 28, the Savannah Bananas are taking over the Alexandria Dunkin’ at 3325 Jefferson Davis Hwy. From 9 to 11 a.m., the players will be behind the counter serving orders and treating guests to free giveaways.

The team also recently released a limited amount of standing tickets to this weekend’s games. The Bananas take on The Firefighters on Friday and Saturday at Nats Park. Both games are at 7 p.m.

NoVA fans can catch Vienna’s Danny Hosley on the field. He’s in his third year pitching for the team, and he told Nothern Virginia Magazine that games are a combination of competitive baseball and theatrical performances. “It’s kind of like a little bit of the best of both worlds. We’re trying to put on the best show in the country,” Hosley said.
