Northern Virginia is getting a new toy store ahead of the holiday season. Leesburg Premium Outlets announced that a Toys R Us is opening soon in the shopping center.
Toys R Us will be located in the space next to Perfume Hut and across from Old Navy, adjacent to the outdoor play area.
Toys R Us filed for bankruptcy in 2017. It was liquidated and sold, and its new parent company, WHP Global, has been reopening stores. According to a 2025 news release, “the brand is celebrating its largest growth year yet, now spanning more than 1,500 stores and e-commerce businesses across 35+ countries.”
The brand also opened a DMV location in Arundel Mills in Hanover, Maryland, last year.
