Fathom Events is partnering with more than 650 movie theaters across the country, some of them in Northern Virginia, so that opera performance can be appreciated from the comfort of closer-to-home venues.
The 2017-18 season of The Met: Live in HD, will feature 11 broadcast performances, five of them new, starting on Oct. 7 with Bellini’s Norma.
In addition to the live performances, audiences will also get to go behind the scenes in exclusive interviews with some of The Met’s leading artists.
There are a number of NoVA theaters participating: Regal Fairfax Towne Center 10, AMC Tysons Corner 16 and Cobb Village 12 Cinemas among them. Other local venues can be found here once you select the show you want to see and enter your zip code into the space provided.
