Seven winter boots we’re crushing on

Your search for the perfect winter boot just got a lot easier with these seven stunners.

By Editorial January 26, 2017 at 9:00 am

If you’re anything like us, you put on your winter boots in the morning and end up wearing them all day long. So, they better look good and be functional. We’ve found seven winter boots that fit that criteria that we are definitely working into our rotation this season.

This is not your typical winter boot. It’s a daily staple that goes with pants, skirts and dresses (a bit of a boho vibe), and it keeps your feet toasty warm and dry.

Available at Ugg for $180.

Fan of the knee-high boot? This one doesn’t even look like something you’d slosh around the snow in, but that’s exactly what it was made for.

Available at Bishop Boutique in Alexandria for $237.

Water and slush is no battle for these slip-on, matte black boots from Sam Edelman. Just like your everyday ankle boots, these will stay in step with your style.

Available at The Shoe Hive in Alexandria for $55.

If you are lucky enough to get your hands on a pair of these boots, count yourself on trend. These boots have been selling out in past years.

Available at L.L. Bean (traditional colors in many sizes are backordered) for $119.

The color. The faux fur cuff. The height. The waterproofing. What’s not to love about these boots?

Available at Shopbop for $135.

No one will look at these booties and think they are made for winter weather. The leather upper brings this to anywhere-appropriate, and the hidden 2.75-inch wedge gives the wanted height missing from most winter boots.

Available at Bloomingdale’s for $250.

Sometimes rugged boots are all we want for winter stomping. These fit the bill and add in warmth for the calf with an easy inside zipper for getting them on and off.

Available at Merrell for $159.99.
