Even though some restaurants are starting to open back up, chances are, in the COVID-19 era, you’re still eating at home more than usual. If you want to change up that pizza delivery you’ve been getting every weekend, sweetgreen—the wildly popular, local salad shop (remember its lines out the door at lunchtime when working in an office was a thing?)—is now offering $0 delivery fee delivery on weekends starting Saturday, July 25 (note that the standard service fees attached to delivery orders are not being waived during this promotion, just the delivery fee itself).
The healthy takeout option, which won Best Salads in Northern Virginia Magazine’s 2019 Best of NoVA feature, will deliver dishes from its healthy menu, including its salads, warm bowls and sides. Sweetgreen locations in NoVA include Reston, Ballston, Mosaic District and Tysons Galleria and in-store ordering is also now available.
Delivery orders can be placed through the sweetgreen app and free, weekend delivery will last through Labor Day weekend.
