Northern Virginia shoppers now have a new grocery store to frequent. Sprouts Farmers Market is open at Lyon Village Shopping Center in Arlington. It replaces a Giant that closed in 2024 after 60 years.
Grand opening celebrations begin on Friday, September 25 at 6:45 a.m. with a ribbon cutting. Doors open at 7 a.m. and festivities continue until September 27. The first 200 shoppers will receive a free reusable tote bags for the first two opening days, while supplies last. Additional perks include free flowers, pop-up parties, free samples, and a scavenger hunt.
The store is also offering 20% off for customers who sign up for rewards and purchase items during the celebratory weekend. Guests can also enter to win a $500 Sprouts gift card.
Based in Phoenix, Sprouts operates nearly 500 stores in 25 states. It specializes in fresh and organic foods. The new Arlington location will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
