Cravings: Pork Dumplings at House of Fortune

A series on some of the best dishes around NoVA.

Dish: Dumplings, steamed then pan-fried, $5.95

Where: House of Fortune, 6715 Lowell Ave., McLean; 703-821-3779

Taste:  Sometimes dumplings are mostly air pocket, not a lot of filling. Not so at House of Fortune. Ground pork occupies every crevice inside the dough. It is seriously piggy, and the huge dumplings take three bites, minimum.
