Sales and News: 13 Northern Virginia boutique sales to hit up this month

These local boutiques are having major sales in February, so now’s the time to stock your closet.

Even though we just started pulling out our winter sweaters and coats, local boutiques are trying to make room for all the new spring arrivals. Some D.C. and Northern Virginia boutiques will participate in the Annual Warehouse Sale in Alexandria, but if you can’t attend that event, there are still plenty more deals to keep an eye out for this month. 

Arielle Shoshana: The D.C. area’s first niche fragrance boutique, located in Mosaic, is a having a promotion where you can buy a bouquet of rose fragrance samples at a discount for Valentine’s Day.  

Bellacara: Located in Old Town Alexandria, this cosmetic store is having a half-off sale on discontinued makeup from several lines, including Stila, Vincent Longo, Jouer and Rouge Bunny Rouge. Bellacara will also offer 15 percent off Dr. Dennis Gross products on Feb. 18.

Bishop Boutique: This month, the Old Town boutique is taking 60 percent off its fall and winter collection.

Crystal Boutique: Crystal Boutique in Crystal City is having a big pre-spring sale until Feb. 11 with deals on nearly all of the brands the store carries. Check out the preseason sale booklet online.

Current Boutique: From Feb. 11-14, you can get 20 percent off all items at the consignment shop’s Clarendon and Old Town locations. 

Duchess M: This month, the Old Town clothing and jewelry boutique is making room for spring items with a pre-warehouse sale blowout. The full-store sale will continue until all the fall and winter items are gone. 

Mint Condition: The local consignment boutique is having an in-store warehouse sale, one of the store’s most popular sales of the year. From Feb. 3-5, sale items will be an extra 65-75 percent off along with up to 25 percent off full-priced items and 10 percent off new inventory.

Scout and Molly’s: Scout and Molly’s is having a winter blowout sale where customers can save up to 40 percent off until all winter items are gone. If you buy three sale items, you will receive an additional 10 percent off. 

She’s Unique: She’s Unique is offering half off end-of-season items. 

Top it Off: Throughout the month of February, everything in the Alexandria store is $15. 

TSALT: This month, TSALT is offering a deep discount on denim ranging from 50-70 percent off.

Undeniable Boutique: Undeniable Boutique is having an end-of-season clearance sale until all winter items are gone with select items priced $20-$40. And if you need help styling your newest steals, Undeniable offers personal styling services, too. 

The McLean Community Center is hosting the Better Than Bling Jewelry & Fashion Accessories Show on Feb. 4 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. where you can peruse the creations of 30 designers and artisans, including women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories. 

Better than Bling will also host personal styling workshops and consultations led by industry professionals. Quantum Leap Coaching and Training founder Linda Cassell will lead a resume strategy session for women and offer consultations. Admission to the event is $5 for adults, and it’s free for active military and children up to 12 years old. Lunch and dinner will be provided by Sweet Stuff of Mclean.
