One flight will leave Dulles International Airport every afternoon on Aeromexico, starting in July.

You will be able to travel nonstop from Dulles International Airport to Mexico City, starting July 1, 2024.

The daily flights on Aeromexico will depart Dulles at 4:40 p.m., the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority said. From Mexico to the Dulles, the flight will leave at 8:40 a.m.

“Aeromexico’s return adds to Dulles International Airport’s status as the fastest-growing international gateway in the United States,” said Chryssa Westerlund, Airports Authority executive vice president and chief revenue officer. “With the launch of this non-stop route to Mexico City, travelers will enjoy the benefits of capital-to-capital service and convenient connections for business and leisure opportunities.”

Jeff Morgan, Aeromexico’s senior vice president of network planning and scheduling, said the flights strengthen ties between the two nations.

Some 33 million Americans go to Mexico every years, and 13 million Mexicans come to the U.S., according to the Embassy of Mexico.

“We look forward to offering customers in the Washington area enhanced travel options to Mexico City as well as beyond to the more than 40 additional points we serve across the country of Mexico,”  Morgan said.
