Those seeking to escape the impending winter blues are in luck. Dulles Airport will service a new nonstop route to Mexico. Budget airline Volaris will offer the airport’s first direct flight to Guadalajara starting this October.
According to the Washington Business Journal, the airline will have flights from Guadalajara to Dulles on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting October 1. Flights from Dulles to Guadalajara will be on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting October 2.
Guadalajara is the fourth largest city in Mexico. It’s known for its rich culture and architecture.
