Summer concert season is approaching its end, but exciting live music opportunities are still on the horizon. The Barns at Wolf Trap has announced its first shows for the 2026–2027 season. The upcoming season will include genres such as bluegrass, rock, pop, and more.
It will also be the first season with the Virginian Barn, a new addition to Wolf Trap’s property. The 2,500-square-foot building was originally constructed in the early 19000s and was relocated to Wolf Trap’s property this spring.
“There is something truly special about experiencing a performance at The Barns at Wolf Trap,” said Arvind Manocha, President and CEO of Wolf Trap Foundation. “We’re thrilled to welcome another remarkable lineup of performers to this one-of-a-kind stage, and we are especially proud to open the historic Virginian Barn to provide more comfort and space to patrons and visitors for pre-show dining and gathering.”
A few of the upcoming shows include:
- Matthew Morrison on March 18
- The Del McCoury Band, January 28 to 31 and February 2 and 3
- The Buena Vista Orchestra on February 23
- Jim Messina and Orleans November 4
- Eileen Ivers on April 10
- Stephanie Blythe with Ryan McCullogh on December 6
- A Gilded Age recital with director Daniel Hope on November 1 and January 24

Tickets for The Barns’ 2026-2027 season go on sale Friday, August 21, at 10 a.m. Additional shows will continue to be announced throughout the fall and winter.
