If you couldn’t make it to the Olympics to witness shocking gymnastic feats in person, you still have a chance. Some of the United States’ top gymnasts will hit the road this fall for the 2024 Gold Over America Tour. (And yes, the acronym for that is GOAT.)
The tour heads to 30 cities. While it won’t be stopping in NoVA or DC, you can catch the show in Baltimore on October 8.
You may recognize some famous faces. First and foremost, Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles will be there. Joining her on stage will be Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezley Rivera, Brody Malone, and more.
“I love creating unforgettable memories for our audiences every night on tour,” Biles said in a news release.
This is the second iteration of the Gold Over America Tour, which first took place in 2021. Each show runs for about 110 minutes, bringing “an exhilarating display of jaw-dropping athletic brilliance and high-energy choreography coupled with inspirational messages of hope, strength, resilience, and determination,” according to the event description.
“The Gold Over America Tour enables fans to see some of the world’s best gymnasts in a celebratory, non-competitive environment,” said Li Li Leung, president and CEO of USA Gymnastics. “Having the tour at the end of one of the biggest years ever for the sport provides a great opportunity for athletes and fans alike.”
Prices for a standard ticket to the 7:30 p.m. Baltimore show at CFG Bank Arena begin around $72. VIP upgrades are available for additional fees, including the “Gold Squad Upgrade,” which allows guests between 7 and 25 to join the gymnasts on stage for the finale.
