If flea markets and great antiquing take you to your happy place, you’ll be in heaven at the 23rd annual Lucketts Spring Market May 19-21 at the Clarke County Fairgrounds on West Main Street in Berryville.
The wildly popular three-day event showcases more than 200 vendors from around the country selling vintage items. The market that attracts an average of 10,000 visitors features items from American farmhouse-style to European country to midcentury modern. And, there will be garden accessories, textiles, old toys, vintage clothing, and more.
“It’s like the mothership for vintage lovers,” says owner and organizer Suzanne Eblen. “It’s big enough that it’s really worth the day — worth the trip.”
There will be a beer garden from Vanish Craft Brewery, multiple live bands, food trucks, and a fun play area for the kids.
The owners of the Old Lucketts Store, a 138-year-old restored general store and family home in Leesburg, started holding spring and fall markets in 1998. They evolved to be a bucket-list destination for vintage aficionados.
“This fair is the perfect little vintage fairgrounds,” Eblen says. “The vendors are from all over the East Coast. …It’s like everything you would want.”
Tickets for early buyers may be purchased online. Early buyers pay $45 for all three days, but get in for four hours before anyone else on Friday, May 19. General admission tickets will be available online starting April 20 and will be available at the gate for $15. Kids under 12 are free, and dogs are not allowed.
