The event stylistas throughout the region look forward to every year returns this weekend to Old Town Alexandria. The 16th annual Alexandria Warehouse Sale, taking place Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held at the The Westin Alexandria hotel.
The free-to-enter event gives shoppers the chance to find clothing, shoes, jewelry, home furnishings and more for up to 80% retail price.
Several new and familiar boutiques and retailers from the DC metro area are participating this year, including TSalt, Pacers, Scout & Molly’s Boutique, Cara Hosiery, She’s Unique, Patina Polished Living, Monday’s Child, Bishop Boutique, The Shoe Hive and many more.
Because of the event’s popularity, it’s not uncommon to see shoppers lined up early in the morning hours. But those who wait until the last few hours of the day will see even more marked down prices from merchants looking to sell out their pieces.
Other features of the event include in-line giveaways and prizes for shoppers before the doors open; a complimentary Pilates class between 8 and 9 a.m. from Mind the Mat; a DIY station by AR Workshop; button making and pencil embossing with Penny Post; and a complimentary glitter and mini-braid bar from 8 to 11 a.m. by Salon DeZen.
Want to gain early entry to the sale? Four shoppers will win early entry through the Warehouse Sale’s contest, running through midnight on Thursday, Feb. 6.
