You would be hard-pressed to catch a glimpse of Hollywood A-listers like Sandra Bullock, Jake Gyllenhaal and Julia Roberts in the DMV.
But you can now find one of their go-to workouts just around the corner at Barry’s Bootcamp in Clarendon, the first Northern Virginia location of the high-intensity workout chain, which boasts a worldwide fan base including the likes of David Beckham, Jessica Biel and Kim Kardashian.
The Clarendon location opened at the end of January, featuring a 5,695-square-foot facility with 23 treadmills, 23 floor spots, four double-floor spots and a capacity of 50 participants. Classes are scheduled for $34 per session and feature the signature one-hour class that incorporates high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and free-weight strength training.

A lifestyle clothing boutique is also on-site, selling Barry’s original workout apparel from Barry’s FIT line, lululemon and Nike, and the Fuel Bar serves up smoothies and snacks.
Since opening its first location in 1998, Barry’s welcomes 125,000 members and guests every week. The company now has two locations in the DMV. // Barry’s Bootcamp Clarendon: 2825 Wilson Blvd., Arlington; $34 per class, memberships available
