3 Northern Virginia Restaurants Rated Best in U.S. for Brunch

Book a Mother’s Day or Sunday brunch at one of these top spots.

Weekend brunch is always a winner, and now, you can dine in a winning restaurant. OpenTable announced its 2026 Top 100 Brunch Restaurants, and three are right in Northern Virginia.

OpenTable listed Bistro L’Hermitage in Woodbridge as a top brunch spot. It also listed chef Jacques Haeringer’s two Great Falls eateries: L’Auberge Chez François and Jacques’ Brasserie at L’Auberge Chez François.

Bistro L’Hermitage and L’Auberge Chez François have been listed as Northern Virginia Magazine Best Restaurants. Both were also named to OpenTable’s 2026 list of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants.

Mother’s Day Brunch in Northern Virginia

L’Auberge Chez François is offering a prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch with multiple courses. It includes options such as amuse-bouche as well as elegant entrées and decadent desserts.

Bistro L’Hermitage is serving a three-course Mother’s Day brunch. Menu options include lobster bisque; oysters with avocado mousse and saffron aioli; and a bistro omelet with goat cheese, tomato, and spinach.
