Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. Get ahead on planning a date night at the restaurants guaranteed to level up your romantic night out. Seven Virginia restaurants – including three in Northern Virginia – were named to OpenTable’s annual list of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants.

2941 Restaurant in Falls Church, L’Auberge Chez François in Great Falls, and Bistro L’Hermitage in Woodbridge were the NoVA eateries included on the list. The Modern American and French restaurants are known for great food, plus mesmerizing views and charming dining rooms.

2941 and L’Auberge both also appeared on Northern Virginia Magazine’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2025.

Outside of NoVA, there were four additional Virginia restaurants on the list. These include Bookbinder’s Seafood and Steakhouse and L’Opossum in Richmond, Le Yaca French Restaurant in Williamsburg, and The Ivy Inn Restaurant in Charlottesville.

To create the list, OpenTable looked at more than 9 million reviews from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025. It also considered the percentage of five-star reviews, number of alerts set, percentage of reservations made in advance, and direct searches. These metrics were then weighted to come up with the final list.
