Celebrate the First Day of Spring with Free Dairy Queen Ice Cream

We’ve rounded up other special offers, too, including free Rita’s Italian Ice.

By Debbie Williams March 20, 2025 at 10:57 am

Today is the first day of spring, and what better way to celebrate than with free Dairy Queen ice cream? Dairy Queen’s annual Free Cone Day is today, which means customers can get one small vanilla cone at a participating location while supplies last.

And if that’s not enough of a cold, sugary fix for you, today is also Rita’s Free Ice Day. Rita’s is offering a free, 6-ounce Italian Ice as part of its annual first day of spring giveaway. This year, the company is debuting a Skittles Italian Ice flavor for a limited time.

And Jamba Juice is also getting in on the spring fun. Rewards members get a free small smoothie with any in-store or app purchase today.

Some other mouth-watering spring deals and discounts include:

  • Baskin-Robbins is serving up discounts today on smoothies, milkshakes, and Mangonadas, priced at $5 for a small, $6 for a medium, and $7 for a large.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings is offering buy-one-get-one-free boneless wings for dine-in, takeout, and delivery today.
  • Burger King customers can upgrade their combo meal side for free, choosing from chicken fries, mozzarella fries, or churro fries, through April 11.
  • Crumbl Cookies customers can buy six full-size cookies for the price of four through March 22.
  • Dunkin’ rewards members earn triple points on Refreshers by activating the offer before ordering.
