Doughnut lovers are in luck. Four new doughnut shops are opening in Northern Virginia this spring. Each of these businesses found success in other locations and are now bringing their sugary delights to storefronts in the area. Here’s where you can find your next favorite fried sweet.
Texas Donuts
Coming soon to the space vacated by the now-closed Vienna location of MidnighTreats, this locally owned family business makes its Southern-style donuts fresh every morning. The menu offers a wide selection of donuts and oven-baked food, ranging from cronuts and giant Texas-style donuts to croissant sandwiches and sausage kolache, as well as iced coffee. 167 Glyndon St., Vienna
Doughlab
Sterling residents are in for a treat with the opening of Doughlab, a local chain serving malasada-style doughnuts in the Cascades Overlook shopping center. With a rotation of flavors, doughnut lovers can take their pick of Doughlab’s sweet offerings, which change every two weeks. 21426 Epicerie Plz., Ste. 180, Sterling
The Salty
After success in Miami, The Salty is opening three new locations in DC and one in the Mosaic District in Fairfax. The rich and decadent doughnuts on offer are sure to please, especially when paired with their perfectly brewed coffees. 2905 District Ave., Ste. 180, Fairfax

Yoder’s Dutch Delights
Beginning as a food truck, Yoder’s Dutch Delights has recently opened a permanent shop in Manassas serving up hot, homemade doughnuts. Amish heritage and tradition is at the heart of everything at Yoder’s, and their family recipes for delicious classic doughnuts are certain to knock you off your feet. 9145 Manassas Dr., Manassas Park
