Where to Eat for Fairfax City Restaurant Week

Grab a lobster roll, an authentic Irish beef stew, or a family-style pizza for a discount.

The season of restaurant weeks isn’t over quite yet. Fairfax City will host its weeklong culinary event from February 24 to March 2.

This year, more than 30 restaurants will participate in the deal. Restaurants will have menus at set prices of $25 for brunch or lunch, and $40 for a three-course dinner. Some specialty stores will offer a two–for–$10 deal instead of a prix fixe.

“Fairfax City Restaurant Week continues to grow and expand. Diners can sample unique cuisines from around the world as well as organize a group at their favorite local restaurant,” said Fairfax City Mayor Catherine Read. “From pizza by the slice to handmade pasta, Asian bowls, steak and lobster, there’s something for every budget and every palate in Fairfax City.

Here are some of the restaurants participating:

  • Baku Delicious, an Azerbaijani restaurant, will offer a three-course dinner with plov or grape leaf dolma as the entree.
  • Dolce Vita Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar will offer dishes like short rib supli and scallop risotto.
  • Meokja Meokja, a Korean barbecue restaurant, is offering a special combo ($80 for two people) with a selection of proteins.
  • Milk & Honey is serving up deviled eggs, blackened catfish, and banana cheesecake pudding for its dinner prix fixe.
  • Ned’s New England Deck’s dinner deal starts with an appetizer such as its popular clam chowder, a choice of entree (including a lobster or crab roll), and a dessert like a whoopie pie.
  • Old Dominion Pizza has two meal deals for $40 each. Get a 12-inch grandma-style pizza, a regular salad, and a bottle of wine. Or get a 16-inch grandma-style pizza, a family-size salad, and four cookies.
  • The Auld Shebeen offers a soup or salad, an entree such as Guiness beef stew or shepherd’s pie, and a dessert. The offer also includes either a draft beer or an Irish coffee.

A full list of participating restaurants is available online.
