Get ready for some great Broadway shows in Tysons. Capital One Hall’s fourth season of Broadway in Tysons will feature Shrek The Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away, and Chicago.

Subscriptions for the season go on sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 6, with prices starting at $223. Individual tickets will be released at a later date.

Here’s when the Broadway shows, presented by The Watermark Hotel, will be held:

Shrek The Musical

September 20–22

There will be five performances of your favorite ogre with his always-joking donkey friend. This Tony Award–winning show will have new direction and choreography by Danny Mefford. “This reimagined production brings the show back to its roots — giving it a new kind of love emphasizing the importance of loving ourselves and one another,” said Capital One Hall’s website. The show is recommended for those who are at least 10 years old and will have one intermission.

Dear Evan Hansen

October 18–20

This musical has picked up six Tony Awards and the Olivier Award for Best Musical. It follows a high schooler with social anxiety and strikes a chord with families about the way we live in the digital age. The show is recommended for ages 12 and older and contains adult themes.

Come From Away

January 31–February 2, 2025

After the tragedy of 9/11 in 2001, people in a small Newfoundland town opened their homes to thousands of stranded travelers. This musical about a true story features culture clashes, trust issues, and gratitude. There is no intermission. The show is recommended for ages 10 and older.

Chicago

May 30–June 1, 2025

The longest-running American musical will captivate you with songs you know and outstanding dancing once again. Set in the Jazz Age, you’ll love the rivalry between Cook County Jail’s most notorious murderesses, vaudeville star Velma Kelly and chorus girl Roxie Hart. The show is recommended for those 13 and older and has one intermission.
