Music fans are in for a special treat. Two rock legends, Billy Joel and Sting, will take the stage at DC’s Nationals Park on Friday, September 5.
This will be Sting’s first time performing at the venue. Joel has performed at Nats Park three times prior. Both artists have decades-long careers and a bevy of hit songs and Grammy wins to their name. Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Joel is known for “Piano Man,” “Uptown Girl,” and “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” Sting was the former frontman of The Police before launching a successful solo career. His hits include “Every Breath You Take,” “Fields of Gold,” and “Desert Rose.”
Citi cardmembers have presale access to tickets. General ticket sales for Billy Joel and Sting begin on Monday, January 31, at 10 a.m.
