Pay attention to the sounds you make while eating and you will lose more weight.
In a study by Ryan S. Elder and Gina Mohr, researchers at Brigham Young and Colorado State universities, they detail what they call the “forgotten” flavor sense: sound salience. They found that “increased attention to the sound the food makes may serve as a consumption monitoring cue leading to reduced consumption.”
