Does this summer heat wave have you dreaming of snow? If so, you might be interested in United Airline’s new routes.
The airline will launch two nonstop routes to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Vail/Eagle County, Colorado. Both are out of Dulles International Airport.
The seasonal flights are the only nonstop flights between DC and both Jackson Hole and Vail. They will operate weekly on Saturdays beginning on December 20 and run through April 4.
United currently offers nonstop service from Dulles to other U.S. ski and snowboard destinations. These include Denver and Salt Lake City, as well as seasonal service to Bozeman, Montana, and Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
United Airlines is the DC region’s largest airline. It began hub operations at Dulles nearly 40 years ago and now operates nearly 290 daily flights to more than 100 destinations from the airport.
Last month, the airline opened its new flight attendant training center in Chantilly. It’s set to open a new 435,000-square-foot concourse at Dulles in 2026.
