The holiday season is knocking at the door and Santa Claus will be arriving before you know it. If you haven’t booked a flight and hotel somewhere far, far away just yet, it may be time to consider making staycation plans instead.
Gaylord National Resort is celebrating the season with a Christmas-themed, two-bedroom suite, filled with a fully stocked kitchen of hot cocoa and seasonal coffee, seasonal bath products, Christmas decor and more.

Gaylord has taken out all of the stops for overnight guests, decorating the suite with garland, wreaths, lights and stockings. There will also be a shareable basket of Christmas confections provided by the resort’s pastry chef, Mohan De Silva.
The suite offers two private rooms, one with two queen beds and one with a king bed, both with private bathrooms. The living area is a shared suite space. Valet parking and a one-hour Christmas photo shoot will also be available to guests.

The resort is also hosting its annual ICE! At Gaylord National, featuring a How the Grinch Stole Christmas theme and over 2 million pounds of ice sculptures, Reindeer Rush Ice Tubing, ice skating, gingerbread decorating and a train ride on the Village Express that takes children to the “North Pole.”
Overnight guest can purchase packages with more holiday-themed events, including priority entrance to ICE!, a pajama story with Snowflake the Elf, breakfast with the characters of Whoville (from The Grinch Stole Christmas), a silent disco party on the ice skating rink and access to a VIP live ice carving demonstration.
Interested guests can add the Christmas Dreams Suite upgrade (when available, after Friday, Nov. 15) to their existing reservation for $549. Other packages can be purchased separately, and the ICE! celebration does not require an overnight stay.
