Capital Art and Craft Festival

This spring arts and crafts festival features more than 250 artisans and vendors. April 6
This flea market in the heart of Arlington is the perfect place for bargain hunters and casual shoppers. Kick off the spring season with some fantastic vintage finds. Earth Day Festival
April 20
Learn about your impact on planet Earth and local wildlife at this hands-on, family-friendly festival. There will be live music, along with games, outdoor camping and fishing demonstrations, and a petting zoo. Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival
April 26–May 5
As one of the oldest festivals in Virginia, the 10-day Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival hosts community events, parades, and the crowning of Queen Shenandoah. The fun kicks off with the carnival in Winchester, along with the Bloomin’ Wine Fest and the Artisan and Crafter Show. 135 N. Cameron St., Winchester, prices vary, depending on the event
Spring Wine Festival
May 17–19
Add a flourish to spring with a glass of wine at Mount Vernon on the banks of the Potomac River. Guests can enjoy the beauty of our first president’s home while sampling 20 different Virginia-made wines.
