While the Halloween season is all about the candy for the kids, it’s all about the frights for the adults. With endless amounts of Halloween movies and shows available this October, you may be looking for some new content. Look no further than the StageCoach Theatre Company, which will be debuting its new original production Dial M for Monsters later this month.
The murder mystery will have both live performance and livestream options available for guests. The live show will run on Saturdays and Sundays from Oct. 17 to Nov. 8, with a livestream option for the shows on Oct. 24, 25, 31, Nov. 1, 7 and 8. Tickets for both options will be $25 per person or device. It is recommended that guests reserve their seats for the in-person performance in advance as seats cannot be guaranteed at the door.
In this original production, someone gathers classic movie monsters the Count, Franklin, the Mummy, Wicked Witch and Wolfie, along with their fans, in a single location before Halloween night. As the zombie infestation starts to take over the town and the monsters try to fight back, they realize having everyone together may not be the best idea.
At the live performance, the theater company has put in place regulations to keep both the cast and guests safe. This includes limited seating, mask requirements for all guests and face shields for the actors. The company also stated that all Virginia Safer at Home Phase 3 protocols and CDC guidelines will be followed.
With the holiday season right around the corner, StageCoach Theatre Company is currently producing new shows for the upcoming months. In December, guests can expect to see the murder mystery Twas the Night Before Murder and the classic A Christmas Story. In January, the company will be performing The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon. // StageCoach Theatre Company: 20937 Ashburn Road, Suite 115 & 120, Ashburn
