Performers are heading out on stage once again across the region as theaters reopen their doors after months of being shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of those local theaters reopening their doors is the StageCoach Theatre Company in Ashburn.
It recently announced its September production will be Clue: On Stage, premiering on Saturday, Sept. 12, and running Saturdays and Sundays through Sunday, Sept. 27.
The screenplay by Jonathan Lynn is based on the Hasbro board game CLUE, as well as the Paramount Pictures 1985 movie of the same name. The comedic murder mystery is a whodunit that cult fans adore.
Clue: On Stage is the first main stage production at StageCoach and its first on-site production since the region went into quarantine in the spring. Other shows in production include Dial M for Monsters, a murder mystery set for October, and A Greeting Card Christmas Cabaret will take the stage for the holiday season in December.
All StageCoach guests will be required to wear masks and can make reservations online here. To find out more, visit stagecoachtc.com. // 20937 Ashburn Road, Suites 115 and 120, Ashburn; $25 per person
