
Easter (Sunday, April 12) looks a little different this year, as social distancing is canceling church services, family get-togethers, brunches and more. But, that doesn’t meant the fun times can’t still continue at home.
Many local businesses are putting together fun online workshops and kits that are perfect to get in the Easter spirit, so celebrate at home this Easter and pick up or participate in one of these holiday activities below.
Presidential (Family) Egg Roll

Just because the White House Easter Egg Roll has been canceled doesn’t mean you can’t partake in the annual tradition. Grab some eggs (balls work too) and measure out your lanes to participate in the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Sites’ virtual egg roll during this time of social distancing. // free

Occoquan Community Peep Contest

Take Home Easter Egg Hunt

Public Easter egg hunts are canceled this year, but the hunt can still go on at home. Take a drive up to Great Country Farms to get everything needed to put on your own unforgettable egg hunt in your backyard.
