Looking for an excuse to bar hop? The Roper Romp Charity Pub Crawl is returning to Leesburg on September 12.
The crawl —inspired by Mrs. Roper from the show Three’s Company — runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are encouraged to pull out their best kaftans and dress like the sitcom character. The event will make stops at Dynasty Brewing, Loudoun Brewing Company, Crooked Run Fermentation, and Tarbender’s Lounge.
Tickets include four drink tickets, a mini sub, snacks, a bottle of water, and a mug. Ticket options range from $65 to $85, depending on the type of drink. Nonalcoholic drink options are also available.
The event is held in honor of Noelle Tessman, the young daughter of local realtor Nancy Tessman, who died from pediatric cancer. Proceeds will benefit CJ’s Pediatric Promise Fund, a Loudoun County nonprofit supporting families with children who have life-limiting illnesses and complex medical needs.
Joanne Canellos, director of CJ’s Pediatric Promise Fund says all funds raised through the Roper Romp will help support its programs throughout the year. 10 W Market St., Leesburg
