For little pilots-in-training, this is a sleepover parents should OK. For the first time ever the Smithsonian is opening up Chantilly’s Udvar-Hazy Center for the popular Smithsonian Sleepovers. Sleepover guests (including a required chaperone) will experience the museum through an interactive exploration of exhibit halls consisting of games, puzzles and challenges; exhibit-based craft projects; an IMAX film; sleeping next to aviation and space artifacts (Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, Concorde and space shuttle Discovery); and maybe even spotting an alien or two.
