Find Wintry Fun at Leesburg’s Lansdowne Resort

The resort offers ice skating, igloos, and holiday treats starting November 22.

Looking for a festive dinner, family ice skating, or an easy overnight New Year’s Eve destination? Lansdowne Resort offers special holiday activities from November 22 through the New Year.

The resort’s terrace will be decorated like a sparkling arctic tundra with private igloos, an outdoor skating rink, and fire pits. Guests can skate, then enjoy hot chocolate, cider, pastries, and s’mores kits for roasting under the stars.

The skating rink opens November 22. It operates daily through January 12, with 50-minute sessions including skate rentals and optional lessons.

Guests can also reserve a 90-minute stay in igloos that feature warm lighting, a Bluetooth speaker, and a personal heater. The seasonal menu includes goat cheese fritters, charcuterie boards, cheese fondue, and signature cocktails, plus selections from the resort’s wine list.

Families can join the annual Breakfasts with Santa on December 6, 13, and 20. The event includes a holiday meal and a visit to Santa’s Workshop for cookie decorating and ornament crafting.

Lansdowne also offers special overnight packages for New Year’s Eve. The celebration includes dinner, craft cocktails, and live entertainment from dueling pianos.
