Tickets Are on Sale for Burnside Farms’ Tulip-Filled ‘Festival of Spring’

The Instagram-worthy event begins on April 4.

By Maggie Roth March 27, 2025 at 11:48 am

For fans of Burnside Farms’ popular annual Festival of Spring, the wait is almost over. The farm announced that the festival will run from April 4 to 21, and tickets are on sale starting today, March 27, at noon.

Burnside Farms in Nokesville is well known for its sprawling tulip fields, which encompass more than 150 varieties of the flower. (There are also more than 30 types of daffodil, if that’s more your speed.)

During the Festival of Spring, guests are invited to visit the farm and pick their own flowers. Each ticket includes five self-picked stems. Food trucks, drinks, and entertainment are also available during the festival.

Every year, the exact dates of the festival vary because of the way weather impacts the flowers. The spring season lasts roughly three weeks, depending on conditions. So, if conditions are good, this year’s season may even last past April 21.

You can always check out the online Field Report to see the status of the blooms.

Burnside Farms Hours & Ticket Information

Burnside Farm is open daily (weather permitting) from 8 a.m. to dusk once the season opens. The last entry is at 7:15 p.m. Early-bird (7 to 8 a.m.) tickets are offered Thursday through Sunday.

Tickets are administered in time-specific arrival windows. You may arrive anytime within your ticket window, and once you arrive, you may stay as long as you like until closing. The last entry for the sunset timeslot is 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are sold online only and are not available at the gate.
