Creative projects release stress, and during a global pandemic, we could all use a little relief. If you’re looking for ways to support local artists and tap into your own artistic side, then consider registering for Meg Biram’s 15-pack of digital art classes, all available online.

Biram, who lives in Alexandria and is known for public murals at The Coconut Club in DC, Kith / Kin at The Wharf and the Adaire apartments in Tysons, launched the classes in an effort to promote creativity and fun.

The 15 classes, which all together cost $25, are aimed toward most ages and skill levels (ages 5 and up), and include collage, painting, clay sculpting and cutting paper into fun designs. The classes are flexible, and depend on the materials you have at home, how much time you want to spend on the project, your skill level and your age. And, each class includes a video and a Google Doc with materials needed, a description of the class, instructions and photos of examples of the artwork.

Once participants purchase the classes, they will be taken to a page with a PDF document to download (which should be downloaded within 24 hours of purchasing the classes). In the document is a link to a Google Folder, which includes an introduction video and an introduction document. The folder also includes the videos of Biram teaching the classes.

Currently, two classes are available for download and more will be added over the next few weeks until all 15 classes are uploaded to the Google Folder, and the classes will be available through 2020. Biram is also currently offering free coloring pages to download on her site.
