A Meal in Three Courses

Going out to eat is one thing, going out to cook is quite another.

In the history of relationships, the phrase “I don’t care,” or some variation has been the frustrating response to the age old question: “What do you want to eat tonight?”

Cooking classes prevent this question, and teach couples how to work together to create culinary treats. Northern Virginia has an abundance of cooking classes for any cuisine.

Chef’s Table at Workhouse Arts

Workhouse Arts hosts their Chef’s Table every third Saturday of the month, and designed their classes around education and fun. The menu changes every month, and covers a range of global dining. On May 17, Cornish Game Hens are on the menu, along with savory mash potatoes, roasted asparagus and vanilla ice cream with an espresso-caramel sauce.

Couples will work together on cooking islands to learn basic cooking techniques, under the instruction of Chef Kathleen Linton. All meals will include a glass of wine, and dessert.
