Itching to experience some live music after the 56th Annual Grammy Awards last night? These NoVa venues have you covered, with performances in many different genres lined up for this week.
Tonight at 7:30, Cheap Trick’s lead singer Robin Zander will be performing an acoustic set at the Birchmere in Alexandria. Tickets are $35 and are available here.

Also tonight, Ladysmith Black Mambazo will be playing some of its a capella South African music at 8 p.m. at The Barns at Wolf Trap. This show is a great opportunity to get to know a Grammy winner—the group took home the award for “Best World Music Album” last night for their album “Singing for Peace Around the World.” Tickets begin at $40 and are available here.

On Wednesday, former teen heartthrob Teddy Geiger will be playing at Jammin Java in Vienna. You might remember him as Emma Stone’s love interest in “The Rocker,” and you’ll almost certainly recognize his hit “For You I Will.” Tickets are $12 and include a pre-show meet-and-greet with Teddy if you buy three or more tickets by Jan. 28. Folk lovers will enjoy Christopher Graham’s set at Jammin Java on Thursday. The Oak Hill native will take the stage at 7:30. Tickets are $12 and available here.

Come back to Wolf Trap on Friday or Saturday for Schooner Fare’s string folk stylings. The Maine-based duo uses multiple guitars and banjos during their eclectic sets and perform everything from traditional folk songs to sea shanties.
