There’s a new Asian department store coming to Northern Virginia. Ebisu Life Store is set to open its first NoVA location in Falls Church.

Shoppers can be expected to find a variety of goods, including Asian beauty and skin care, snacks and drinks, and blind boxes and collectibles. The store even includes an arcade with claw machines and other games.

The department store also has locations in Rockville and Towson, Maryland. Ebisu will be running a special event throughout its three stores to celebrate the grand opening of its Falls Church location, including select discounts throughout the store.

From May 1 to 15, shoppers that follow Ebisu on social media will receive a free canvas bag. Plus, the more you buy, the more free gifts you get. Spend $49.99 and over to get a free snack pack, $69.99 and over to get a free Sanrio Gashapon display and Hello Kitty wet wipes, and $99.99 and over for a free 14” Kuromi plush.

Located at Seven Corners Center, Ebisu’s new storefront is replacing the former Joann Fabric and Crafts. The space includes more than 14,000 square feet filled with Japanese and Asian goods.

This marks the second Asian department store opening in NoVA this year; Teso Life opened in Centreville in January.

Ebisu will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.  6320 Seven Corners, Falls Church
