Grocery Outlet
Looking for a deal whenever you go to the grocery store? Plan on making this new Falls Church store your go-to for grocery trips. Opening on Thursday, February 12, this new grocery store will feature prices 40% to 70% than traditional grocery stores. The first 100 customers on opening day will receive a Bliss Buck gift card worth between $5 and $500, and all shoppers will receive a free reusable bag while supplies last. 500 S. Moby Market
Did you know that Moby Dick House of Kabob in McLean is also home to a market? The recently opened store is located on the lower level of the restaurant’s flagship location. Shoppers can find authentic Persian ingredients, Iranian goods, and Moby favorites as they browse the shelves. 6701 Lowell Ave., McLean
Nazret Market #4
You’ll soon be able to grab your international goods from this new Ethiopian market in Bailey’s Crossroads. Slated to open in February, the new store will sell imported spaces, meat, grains, and other goods from Ethiopia, according to Annandale Today. 5810 Seminary Rd., Falls Church
New Organic Market in South Riding
The Shops at Arcola in South Riding is planning a massive development, with nine total shops shown in new renderings. According to The Burn, a market has already signed a lease for the 30,012-square-foot building, but the landlord has only announced that it will be an “organic foods market.” No brand or estimated opening date has been announced.
Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s is expanding its reach in Northern Virginia. The grocery store confirmed with the Fredericksburg Free Press that a new store is in the works in Fredericksburg. Plans are still under review, but the proposed site includes a 13,085-square-foot grocery store at the Shops at Fall Hill.
