Shoppers Take Note: New Stores, Restaurants Are Opening Soon in Fairfax Corner

Several retail and dining options are on the horizon.

Fairfax Corner is getting some exciting new tenants, Peterson Companies has announced. A Sweetgreen restaurant and a Rowan ear piercing shop will open on April 1.

“Fairfax Corner continues to attract highly sought-after brands that elevate the center experience for our community,” said Kimli Cross, senior vice president of leasing at Peterson Companies.

Sweetgreen, known for a plant-forward menu of salads and bowls, is opening at 4225 Fairfax Corner Ave. E. The brand will donate a meal to nonprofit Food For Others for every meal purchased on April 1.

Rowan is located at 4209 Fairfax Corner Ave. E, adjacent to the shopping center’s plaza. It offers ear piercing by licensed nurses, plus a selection of jewelry for sale.

What Else Is Coming?

Sweetgreen and Rowan aren’t the only new retailers on the horizon. Clothing and accessory brand J. McLaughlin has recently signed a lease for a 1,565-square-foot store to open some time this year.

And Ruthie’s All-Day, the popular Southern-food spot, plans to open its second location in the plaza this fall.

Other upcoming tenants include Eutopia Dermatology for medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments, as well as a Drybar for expert blowouts.

“With the upcoming openings of Sweetgreen, Rowan, Ruthie’s All Day, and more, we are further enhancing the variety and caliber of our offerings, making Fairfax Corner an even more desirable destination for both visitors and residents,” Cross said.
