Fairfax Corner Brings Together Fashion, Food, and Fun

Take it slow and enjoy all this shopping center has to offer, from trendy women’s clothing boutiques to outdoor mini golf.

By Rachel Schlueter July 28, 2023 at 1:12 pm

With a number of family friendly restaurants, events, and activities, Fairfax Corner has developed into the epitome of leisure. Spend the whole day at this retail center. Sample Ozzie’s pasta. Solve a puzzle at Escapology. Buy running shoes at Potomac River Running.

As you explore, bring along a to-go cocktail from California Pizza Kitchen, Crafthouse, P.F. Chang’s, or Uncle Julio’s. As part of the center’s Cocktails To-Go program, you can bring alcoholic beverages outside of restaurants and into stores and common areas, like The Plaza.

Located in the heart of the center, The Plaza is a place to relax under a cabana or enjoy one of Fairfax Corner’s events. Coming up on August 20, Fairfax Corner will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a Sunday Funday Birthday Bash. Make sure to visit Fairfax Corner on October 7 for the Artisan Market & Fall Festival.

The Plaza hosts fitness activities, including the Potomac River Running’s race series. Through September 30, there are four mini golf holes, which make for the perfect pre- or post-dinner activity.

Fairfax Corner is currently expanding with the construction of a new building that will house an Ikea “plan and order” center, several new stores, and a relocated Arhaus showroom.

To navigate this retail center, ride the new free Corner Connector shuttle.

With so much to see, eat, and do, here’s a guide for what to check out first.
