Centreville native Lindsey Evans has always had a knack for finding beauty in all things. From costume designing in Los Angeles after college to now providing luxury styling services in the DMV, she knows the importance of fashion. This month, Evans—who resides in Arlington—will take her expertise to the next level by debuting a podcast titled Too Glam to Give a Damn, inspired by her love for glamour, celebrities and, in her words, “just generally being fabulous.” In each episode, Evans sits down with industry experts to discuss all things glam.

Throwing Shade
“I religiously upgrade my sunglasses seasonally. A new designer pair twice a year will keep your wardrobe looking fresh. I have these huge Dior ones that are like goggles almost (Kylie Jenner wore them!) and they’re super fun.”

Face First
“I love my exfoliant from Thyrst Beauty Co. It’s a very fine exfoliant that’s almost sand-like and my skin feels amazing after I use it every other day. I’m addicted.”

All Dressed Up
“I love finding things on Farfetch; it carries the brand Rotate, which I’m obsessed with and it’s an awesome price point. I love the brand’s dresses for events; they fit my personality.”

Light It Up
“Hot-pink eye makeup is a big trend right now in fashion work and can be fun for a Friday night. For my green eyes, the Neon Green palette has some nice, everyday colors that work for a more toned-down look.”

Glow On
“A girlfriend of mine just got me a highlighter from Fenty Beauty by Rihanna called Diamond Bomb and it’s just gorgeous, so sparkly! I love it.”
Style Philosophy
“Be your best self and stand out like the star you are. Don’t make yourself small to simply fit in—there’s only one you!”

Band Together
“I picked out my wedding rings after we got married, and I have some David Yurman bands that are stackable and I just love them. I think investing in great jewelry that feels very you is a wise choice for daily life.”
