Nats Park Will Transform into a Winter Wonderfest This Holiday Season

The venue will include a tubing slide, a light show, and a wintry speakeasy bar.

Looking to form magical holiday memories this winter? DC’s Nats Park will be hosting Winter Wonderfest, an “immersive winter celebration” with light shows, family-friendly games, and other festive activities. The venue will open on select days between November 28 and December 24.

“We’re continuing to highlight how the ballpark is a year-round destination for the community, creating an immersive experience that captures everything we love about the season — from themed activities and seasonal food and beverages to unique entertainment and festive moments,” said Jonathan Stahl, vice president of Nationals Park events.

Winter Wonderfest will include a six-lane tubing slide, a Northern Lights–inspired light show, scenic train rides, putt-putt and other games, and a dance floor. For adults, there will be a 21-and-up area with firepits and a hidden speakeasy in the Nationals batting cages.

This is Winter Wonderfest’s inaugural year, but it’s not the first time Nats Park has hosted a festive wonderland. Enchant Christmas, billed as the world’s largest Christmas light maze, was held at the ballpark for several years but did not return last year.

Tickets to Winter Wonderfest are on sale now for $29.50 per person; kids under 3 are free.
