Enchant Christmas Is Not Returning to DC This Season

After four years at Nationals Park, the Christmas light display will skip the District this year.

As the region begins to deck the halls with twinkling lights, there will be one display that will be notably missing. Enchant Christmas will not return to Nationals Park this holiday season.

For four of the last five holiday seasons, the world’s largest Christmas light maze has transformed the baseball stadium into a winter wonderland. The light maze featured millions of lights and became a must-visit destination during the holidays.

Centered around the 100-foot animated Christmas tree, the light maze featured an ice skating rink, a hide-and-seek activity for kids, endless photo ops, and a Christmas village full of area vendors.

It all started when two teens from Vancouver, Kevin Johnston and Cam Walker, offered to help neighbors put up Christmas lights. Since then, the business has grown into the larger-than-life outdoor maze that travels the country.

This year, the display will be open at baseball stadiums in three cities — Las Vegas, Seattle, and San Jose, California.
