Loudoun County Police Investigate Reports of Gunfire in Sterling

Witnesses report hearing gunfire in the area early Wednesday morning.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible shooting in Sterling this morning. Deputies responded to the area around 5 a.m. after receiving a third party report of a shooting victim in the area of W. Church Road. 

Upon further investigation, evidence of gunfire was located outside a home on the 700 block of W. Church Road. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and seeing two subjects leave the area. No victims have yet been located. Police continue to check local hospitals and canvas the area.
