The Arlington Education Center is currently working on plans for renovation with the hope that it will become a new wing of Washington-Lee High School. Early designs feature 24,600 square feet of classrooms that could house up to 600 students. The Arlington County Board is expected to approve the educational specifications for the facility in a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 10.

The case of Justin Michael Wolfe, who has served more than 17 years in prison for a crime he says he did not commit, will have a new appeals hearing based on a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2001, Wolfe was convicted of a murder in Bristow when he was 19 years old.
