Absentee voting begins today; Former Gov. Terry McAuliffe could run for president in 2020

Now through Nov. 3, Virginia voters can register to vote absentee. All absentee ballots must be returned to registration offices by 7 p.m. on Nov. 6.

During an Associated Press interview in Des Moines, Iowa, former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said that he hasn’t completely dismissed the idea of running for president in 2020.

Three people were killed and another three injured when a Baltimore County woman began shooting people at a Rite Aid distribution center in Aberdeen, Maryland. The 26-year-old shooter then shot and killed herself, bringing the total number of deceased to four.

Due to high water levels, the National Park Service has once again pushed back the planned construction closure of the Arlington Memorial Bridge. The closure was supposed to start today, Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m., but will now take place from Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. to Oct. 1 at 5 a.m.
