NoVA spots being considered for 4 million-square-foot Apple campus; Defective concrete panels used in Silver Line construction

According to The Washington Post, Apple may be looking to create a 4 million-square-foot campus capable of holding 20,000 employees in Crystal City, Tyson’s Scotts Run development or near the Center for Innovative Technology.

Universal Concrete Products has been accused of knowingly delivering defective concrete panels, 1,500 of which were used to build exterior walls at five new Silver Line stations. The panels could be prone to cracking and erosion, and when an employee brought this to officials’ attention, he was reportedly told to fake tests to conceal the information.
