Last week, 28-year-old Elizabeth Malone of Fort Belvoir was found injecting her 5-year-old son with an unknown substance while the boy was being treated at Inova Children’s Hospital. Malone used stolen medical supplies to carry out the injection and has been charged with child abuse and larceny.

During the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville last summer, 23-year-old Jacob Scott Goodwin beat 20-year-old DeAndre Harris in a parking garage, leaving Harris with a spinal injury, head lacerations requiring staples and a broken arm. Goodwin has now been found guilty of malicious wounding.
